Frozen Lake

 

It was a sunny day but due to the frigid temperatures that we have had in Southern West Virginia and even in much of the south this winter, Little Beaver Lake where I took my hike today still remains frozen fairly solid. 

 

 

Big Snow

This is the house that we have been living in on the campus of The University of Charleston/Beckley.  We get plenty of snow here in southern West Virginia and this winter is no exception!  We have a big event planned for tomorrow but at this rate we will need to reschedule!  Our University staff is the best and they work around the clock to battle the winter's blistering, bitter wrath.
